The Aam Aadmi Party chose Ramlila Maidan to launch the agitation against the ordinance, in view of the success of the Anna movement as well as several other agitations. This was mentioned by Kejriwal himself and Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj.

The Chief Minister saluted the stage while referring to the movement against corruption started at Ramlila Maidan 12 years ago. Also, claimed that like 12 years ago, this time also they will be successful. At the same time, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Ramlila Maidan has a long history. It is known for staging Ramlila and political activities. After the independence of the country, many movements started from here and became successful. In this way Ramlila Maidan is the Dharma Kshetra and Kurukshetra of independent India. Big revolutions have started from this ground and today Aam Aadmi Party has decided to start a big revolution from here itself.

He also discussed the movement of Loknayak Jayaprakash. He said that the Jayaprakash movement started from here. The whole country is aware of the result of that movement. The Aam Aadmi Party considers Ramlila Maidan as its birthplace and after taking oath here to form the government thrice in Delhi, the success of increasing its graph is also in its mind. AAP leader Sanjay Singh termed Kejriwal as the Arjuna of the anti-corruption movement.

Kauravas snatched the kingdom from the Pandavas, similarly they are trying to snatch it from you.

Mera Rang De Basanti Chola… and listen carefully, people of the world, don’t cast evil eye on us… Aam Aadmi Party leaders told the central government about Kauravas in a rally organized at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday amid patriotic songs. Army, while the Aam Aadmi Party was termed as Pandavas. He accused the BJP of snatching Rajpat from you. Whereas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remained on the target of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Raising many issues, he put the Prime Minister in the dock.

Kejriwal said that the governments of all the states are against the decision of the central government to bring the ordinance. In this way, 140 crore people of the country are together in this fight and they will oppose this ordinance and save the democracy of the country, because the central government has now done the work of destroying the power of the people of Delhi. In future, there is a preparation to bring this ordinance in relation to the states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra etc. Therefore, all of us together will have to stop the ordinance now.

The country is not able to handle the Prime Minister. They are focusing on Delhi instead of the country, whereas today there is inflation everywhere in the country. Petrol is Rs 100 and diesel is Rs 90 per litre. Milk and vegetables have all become expensive. LPG cylinder has become more than one thousand rupees. Unemployment and corruption are spread all over the country, but they do not understand how to remove it. Due to GST, today the fleet of traders in the country has been destroyed. The fleet of well-functioning railways has also been destroyed. Today the people of Delhi are in trouble. This ordinance is being imposed on them, but all the seven MPs of Delhi are missing. He is not a relative of the public, but a slave of the BJP and that is why he is hiding at home.

The challenge of Modi vs Kejriwal

Kejriwal said that including the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi has been ruling for 21 years and he has been ruling for eight years. Therefore, he challenges that any person should compare the work of the Prime Minister for 21 years and his eight years and see who has done more work. He said that by putting Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain in jail, the Prime Minister expected our work to stop, but we have not one but 100 Manish Sisodia and 100 Satyendar Jains.

Sibal advocated opposition unity

Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal on Sunday pitched for opposition unity to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Sibal was addressing a rally organized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against the Centre’s ordinance. He said that the way the Center is functioning, there is very little room left for the existence of any other government or party in a democracy. That is why there is a need for opposition unity so that democracy can be saved.

AAP’s big bet to create favorable atmosphere on the national stage

After becoming a national party, the Aam Aadmi Party is now in a campaign to strengthen its claim on the national platform as well. By giving a direct challenge to the central government, she is giving a feeling of strength to the leaders of non-BJP ruled states. Under this politics, the Aam Aadmi Party, which started its political journey from Ramlila Maidan, has shouted against the central government’s ordinance.

Political strategists say that the Aam Aadmi Party has made preparations to enter the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with full vigor by holding a grand rally. AAP has also tried to give a message that if there is an opposition alliance against the Modi government at the Centre, then the party can play an important role in it. The party in power in Punjab and Delhi can remain in a better position in other states as well under the alliance in the Lok Sabha elections.

However, it is also being said that Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are facing difficulties due to going to jail. Due to direct confrontation with the central government and allegations of corruption, the support of parties across the country has to be sought. Therefore, to create an atmosphere in his favor, the big bet has gone from Maharally.

Here, the special thing about the rally was that senior advocate Kapil Sibal also participated in it. Kapil’s name has been counted among the veteran leaders of Congress. However, the Congress kept distance from the mega rally. If strategists are to be believed, AAP leaders have been continuously pulling Congress.

In 2011, Kejriwal himself opened a front in this Ramlila Maidan against the then Center and the Congress government and leaders of Delhi. In the Anna movement, allegations of corruption were leveled against the then central ministers. In such a situation, Congress can never share that platform.
